Terms of use
Last updated: September 2026
Notice
This document is a first draft of the terms of use, provided for information purposes. It is intended to be reviewed by a legal professional before serving as a definitive contractual commitment.
Purpose
These terms govern the use of Maison Chalambert Intelligence, an AI-powered conversational concierge infrastructure for public-facing venues (hotels, short-let rentals, shops, event venues, among others).
The service lets a client property offer its own guests a concierge reachable by QR code, WhatsApp, or web browser.
Access to the service
The service is reserved for professionals (public-facing venues) that have entered into a commercial agreement with Maison Chalambert.
Access requires a dedicated configuration for the property (knowledge base, concierge identity, WhatsApp channel where applicable).
Commitment and billing
Unless otherwise agreed, the Essential and Signature plans are subject to a minimum 6-month commitment, billed monthly. Setup fees are due upon activation.
The Enterprise plan is subject to a quote and a specific contract.
Nature of the AI concierge
The concierge answers primarily from the verified information the client property provides. Absent reliable information, it is designed to say so rather than invent an answer.
Maison Chalambert does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of every generated answer. The client property remains responsible for keeping the information it provides up to date, and for verifying sensitive answers (pricing, availability, cancellation policies).
The concierge does not carry out any real booking, payment or external action unless a specific technical integration has been explicitly put in place.
Client property obligations
The client property agrees to provide accurate, up-to-date information, not to use the service for unlawful purposes, and to comply with WhatsApp Business's own terms (Meta) when that channel is enabled.
Intellectual property
The infrastructure, code, the Maison Chalambert Intelligence brand and related assets remain the exclusive property of Maison Chalambert. Information specific to each property (knowledge base, brand identity) remains the property of the client.
Limitation of liability
Maison Chalambert takes reasonable steps to ensure the service's availability and reliability, without guaranteeing continuous availability. Maison Chalambert cannot be held liable for interruptions caused by third-party providers (hosting, messaging, AI provider).
Termination
Outside the commitment period, either party may terminate the agreement with reasonable notice, as specified in the applicable commercial contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of French courts.
